Dr. Annette Huettig is biologist and holds a PhD in molecular and cell biology from Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry / Technical University Munich, Germany. She is a trained Project Manager with a certificate in Project Management from Georg Washington University and completed a course on basic economics at Augsburg University.

Since 2000, she works in the life science industry in various responsible positions. In parallel she started her entrepreneurship as co-founder of a start-up with a bio-analytical technology. The concept was awarded the first prize at ‘all micro’ Dortmund business plan contest and under the first 10 at ‘Science 4Life’ Berlin. She was engaged in raising funds as employee for the organization and for her own business up to low 2- digit million Euros range.

Her broad expertise offered to her customers originates from more than 15 years in life science industry, with project and program management and clinical development exerted at operative and strategic levels in small to mid-size biotech/pharma and medical device companies. This includes experience in various indications (oncology ▪ dermatology ▪ cardiovascular/intensive care medicine ▪ ophthalmology), with several product classes (biologics ▪ herbal ▪ small molecule ▪ blood product ▪ carrier) in development projects from pre-clinical phase to launch.

Aside operative PM tasks Annette Huettig performed project evaluations, prepared and supervised clinical studies, developed regulatory strategies in special areas, attended partnering conferences and was engaged in the alliance management of sub-contractors, co-developmental partners and KOL.
